Become a member & Belong
The City Bible Church Belong journey guides you to discover your redemptive purpose and live the life God created for you. Belong is made up of four steps that equip you to follow Jesus, connect to the church and people, discover your purpose, and serve others.
When you start the Belong Journey, you’re making a commitment to connect to the CBC family and to become a partner in the vision we are pursuing together. That vision is to live like Jesus and share His love. At every class you’ll discover a different dimension where we make that vision reality and you’ll find some practical steps you can make to grow in that area.
Classes are available every Sunday during the 9:30 AM & 11:30 AM services on all campuses. We’ll have some food for you and take care of your children while you continue your Belong Journey, interact with the pastors and build relationships. The theme of each class is patterned after the four things we want all people to do: grow, connect, discover, and serve.
You will learn how to grow as you devote yourself to learning and maturing for a lifetime. This decision means that you will always move forward in life. You will never settle for less than all that God has for you. Stagnation and the status quo will not be part of your life.
WHEN: FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH
You will Connect to a new spiritual family with whom you can build healthy, lasting relationships. This means you are deciding to become part of the City Bible Church family. In order for you to be connected with the family, it is necessary to develop close, intimate friendships with those around you.
WHEN: SECOND SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH
You will find greater purpose as you discover your life in Christ, who God created you to be and the gifts and passions that make you unique. Discover is about finding how you best fit on the Dream Team and which part of the team will be enhanced because you are part of it.
WHEN: THIRD SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH
You will find great fulfillment as you serve others and partner in building His church by living life beyond yourself and making a difference. This decision means you are moving from being an observer to becoming a contributor - using your gifts, talents, time, and your finances.
