be a part of a great christian church community & connect

One of the best ways to develop community is through our Connect Groups. Our groups are based on the New Testament church model and on our desire to see people’s needs met and relationships developed in a caring atmosphere we have 12 different group categories to serve you.

These groups are for men only and represent many types of groups from Bible studies to various hobbies and interests. Our goal is to build up and encourage the men of CBC to be great husbands, fathers, workers, and Christians. Bible Studies and other men’s groups differ campus to campus.

These groups are for women only and represent many types of groups from Bible studies to various hobbies and interests. We envision the women of CBC to be successful in the diverse roles they play as wives, mothers, career-women and Christians. One of our ways we accomplish this vision is through our Women’s Bible Study that happens throughout the year. We come together weekly to build relationships and learn more about the Bible through a video curriculum by world-renowned authors and speakers such as Beth Moore and Priscilla Shirer.

This is a casual play group where moms are welcome to drop in with their little ones to build relationships with other moms in a similar season of life while the kids play together. This is a perfect opportunity to bring a friend or someone on your path who wants to connect with other moms. There is no cost for the playgroup. For times and locations please contact your campus leader below. The spring session begins in February.

These groups focus on family, parenting, and marriage, with many of the groups having options for childcare as well. At City Bible Church we have a deep commitment to marriage and family life. We understand that strong, healthy, happy marriages and families are God’s primary building blocks for thriving children, churches, communities and nations. In fact, the only two people on earth who weren’t actually born but were physically created by God were a married couple, Adam and Eve. It is from these two that all other nations on earth were derived.

We have connect groups for all generations. Starting with our City Kids as well as our Generation Unleashed ministry and our Origin ministry. Each age distinctive ministry has connect groups to serve their generation.

These groups gather those who would like some additional training on how to manage their money more effectively.

All Things New is set up on a semester schedule with differing classes for the fall and spring. The teaching is powerful and direct, and our caring leadership team is available for your continued support.

Whether you’re a newer Christian looking for God’s help in personal areas, or a mature believer simply wanting a fresh touch from God, All Things New is for you.

These groups gather those with a passion for prayer and intercession. Prayer really works! We firmly believe that God not only hears our prayers, but responds. Think about that for a second…the Creator of the universe, the Person who made this whole place work is interested in your prayer. Not only interested, He provides the answer. 1 John 5:14-15 tells us that, “we can be confident that He will listen to us whenever we ask for anything in line with His will. And if we know He is listening when we make our requests, we can be sure that He will give us what we ask for.”

Here at CBC we have a firm conviction that if a person has a relationship with Jesus then they are called to pray and intercede. We’re called to stand in the gap, to be a difference maker and see the power of prayer working to change the seen and unseen. Prayer and intercession is the function of every believer. “So, how’s your prayer life?” How many times have you been asked that question, only to have the feelings of guilt and condemnation follow. Prayer really is one of the most hindered activities on earth.

These groups gather those with a passion to reach out and impact the city.

These groups cover a variety of topics and interests.
